NEWS November 2006 The bodojo online forum is now open for business The bodojo online forum is an extension of the web facilities provided by the bodojo website. Yet another collaboration with Cat Lake, the forum provides the opportunity for bodhran players around the world to come together to discuss their favourite subject, the bodhrán. The site combines the three elements of the former bodhranii family into one site. This means that teachers and builders discussions and contributions are available to all subscribers, not just those who are admitted to those two groups. The web-based forum provides additionality and a complimentary service to the existing email based system. There are many supporters of the email system and now the site can serve you the subscriber in the manner that best suits your needs. August 2006 Irishfest Blog Having just returned from the madness that is Milwaukee Irishfest Paul decided to do a multimedia blog of his Irishfest experience. The blog was superbly received, especially within Irishfest itself and even made the front page of the Irishfest website and their newsletter - Way to go. Read it here November 2005 Bodojo has combined with the bodhránii yahoo group to produce an integrated and collaborative approach to the bodhrán on the web. Paul Marshall and Cat 'Bodhráness' Lake are working together to provide better services and information to bodhrán players around the world. The existing bodhránii discussion forum will simply be rebranded as the bodhrandojo forum, everything else will stay the same in relation to the functioning of that group and users should expect no interruption but will notice a slightly different look. The bodhrán tutors and builders groups are very low traffic and it has been decided that they will be wound up and converted into sections of a web based bulletin board forum which will be created to supplement the email based forum. The bodojo website brings resources directly to the users of the bodhránii discussion forum and together the two combine to provide what we hope will be an unparalleled resource for our user group Site Overhaul The site has received an entire overhaul and update in an effort to make it more user friendly - We hope that you like the new format.
