Michael,

They may very well be opperating out of their home. I've not had a chance to get to see them, yet. As I mentioned, I played a Hedwitschak's briefly borrowed from an aquaintence, then made my purchase on line.

Send them an e-mail.

Cheers,

Dain

Does anyone have, or has anyone out there played, a Belgarth bodhran. How do they rate?

Dont seem to come up too often in the chat and drum lists, just wondered if theres a reason.

I once had a go of one at Junior Davey's workshop in celbridge. It sounded pretty good - I think it was a doubleskin, the back of the skin felt like felt (that is not a typo :)

The sound was soft and warm and I quite liked it.

The one I played was a 16" x 4" - I would recommend getting a deeper one..

Cillian.

Hi Gadget
I have sent a message through the 'post a message' and maybe you can be in touch if it gets there...
