Just got back from Orkney Islands visiting Carbis.

Have to report a couple of fantastic sessions, Sunday night in Kirkwall (13 musicians or 10 & 3 bodhrani!)and Thursday night in Stromness (11 or 8 & 3!).

Wide range of instruments- violin, banjo, accordian, guitar, flute, uillean pipes and most importantly 3 proper instruments!

worth the trip up there just for that, and seeing the Belgarth workshop ( yes, one is on order! 14" x 6" deep. Will let you know more when it arrives.)
