I am still a bit unclear how to count these things. Does somebody have some examples?
I can understand 4/4, which counts as WaTerMeLon WaTerMeLon, 3/3 is APriCot APriCot, but 6/8 is already more difficult to understand because i have no picture / idea of it.
Also the following (Rob posted this on facebook): Ddu Du... Ddu Du... Ddu Du... Ddu Du... Ddu Du... He said that this is in 5/4 and you should count it as Pineapple Peanut. This makes sense and i think i can fit it into a jig, but then 5/6 would make more sense to me because (if i understand things correctly, which is doubtful by the way :-)), if you have six beats in the 6/6 scheme, and you put the Pineaplle Peanut thing over it you get five beats of which the fourth takes the time of two beats, making it 5/6. Do i understand this correctly?
Anyhow, any elaboration on this would be great!
