Svend is a Danish bodhran player, teacher and academic. He was the first person to graduate with a Masters Degree in Bodhran Performance.

Svend teaches using a vocal system basec on the Indian Carnatic 'vocal percussion' Konnakol. Ta Ka Di Mi etc
